Hi,
I am new to this forum, so I might as well start by introducing myself.
I am 27/male from Denmark who moved to Hong Kong about 6 months ago. (saved up some money)

I studied interactive design for 3 years at a famous design-school (http://www.deskol.dk) in Denmark and I have some years of experience in the webdesign bizz and as an entrepreneur. Currently I am expanding into 3d modeling and animation.

My guess was that I could somehow make some contacts that could lead me to a job in the industry but they have been hard to find so far since I havent been involved enough in any expat communities so this is my go at it. I have grown very tired of my simple lifestyle here and have decidet to go all the way this time.

But for that to happen I need to find a job or contacts in the 3d, webdesign, gamedesign, animation fields. I am hungry for a job and willing to learn fast and work hard.

I need to expand my contacts and relations so I would be happy if you could refer me to someone who works in these fields.

Hey welcome to Hong Kong. There are a few places or rather websites you can check out in terms of finding a job or mingling. Geoexpat is a great place to get yourself involved with the expat community here in Hong Kong. In regards to jobs, I would suggest you start off by searching some of the job sites (www.JobsDB.com, www.classifiedpost.com, www.jobmarket.com.hk, etc); these are the top job sites in Hong Kong.

I'm not sure how the community for 3d design or animation industry is in Hong Kong. But don't give up, you never know what you may find here.

I already know the sites but thanks for helping out.
I am more looking for some ppl in the industries I mentioned.

Animation, graphics, games, 3d, film etc.

proffessionals or ppl who know ppl etc.
Thats the best way to enter the industry.
