these questions are asked all the time.
apple products dont really budge in price much..at least not to any signifigant difference.

back home it was best to look for online deals that have free shipping and free upgrades.....but as far as HK goes...dont think there is any of that to be had

just go to any shop on the street that sells apple

There are 2 on Stanley Street in central. I prefer the one on the left as you look at them from the street but the staff in both are very good, though it has to be said that the one on the right come across as having better customer service for those that still expect it in HK!

That's what I think too. I've always felt that the one on the left had staff who thought themselves rather too special (more than other Apple dealers which is saying something).

So far, seems to be the best place for Apple stuff too in my opinion. They have a 'hot deals' 1-page brochure in which they have some good packages made up with some discount. BTW - this is an authorized Apple store, so you are in fact buying absolutely legit products.

Or - if you have someone going to school - you can always get a free iPod Nano by asking them to buy a Mac. This offer is for all educational and institutional buyers and available on the phone or online (confirmed because my cousin attending HKUST bought a Macbook last year and got his free Nano.

Now - I'm not saying he gives it to you, but I don't think apple does not have a 'can't borrow from family member' policy
