Queen's Pier is on Hong Kong island however is now closed. The new star ferry is out just in front of IFC 2 in Central.

Very cynical, Lammarite. But, probably quite accurate.

I thought the Queen's Pier was to be disassembled and stored in boxes in a warehouse, right next to the Ark that Indiana Jones found.
The new Star Ferry Pier is too far way to care about.

The old one used to dump you off so that you came out of the ferry and it felt like you were in the middle of HK. The new one drops you off and it feels like you have to walk miles to get to the middle of HK.
Probably not that far of a distance difference, but it just looks like you are further away.

Give it a year or two and the new pier will be in the middle of Hong Kong.

Will that be due to development or land reclamation?
