Hello all,

Does anyone know of any good locations to rent that either have a large room or a room with stage? Looking at 3 times a week for two hours each time and three months.

Looking for really low price.

I guess you need to be a bit more explicit for the benefit of those whose English comprehension is not native.

My take is that you're looking for somewhere that a performing group (whether theatre or music I'm not sure) can get together and rehearse?

Yes PDLM,

I am looking for space for performing arts rehersals.

I have found the LCSD's sports centres decent. Activity rooms that are huge for $75 and hour or squash courts (which may work, providing noise from other courts isn't too bad) for $47 an hour. Good deals. May be worth looking at.

Would LCSD let you rent a squash court and then use it for a rehearsal? Somehow I feel that would be against "the rules", even if you did all wear non-marking shoes

No, they are called squash courts/multi purpose rooms. Seen three rooms yesterday, one with squash, one with drama and one with karate.
