What sort of work is needed: illustrations, layout for articles, color coordination...?

I am working with an Australian Artist to design self-guided journals that have an accompanying guided meditation CD. These 2 journals target women.

We have pulled together a mock design in PowerPoint for both journals and converted to .pdf. This is a rough design that is simple and very basic.

We will provide all text and images. The main image will need to be cropped so that it can be used throughout the journal.

We are looking for a graphic designer to take our mock and make it into a real life, ready to print journal that "looks" and "feels" beautiful.

We need some guidance on page layout, margins, colours, fonts etc and are open to suggestions without deviating from our concept too much.

We would like the journal to be printed and ready for distribution by the 5th November, therefore will require the design work complete the latest by 19th October 2007.
