Whats it live to live in Man On Shan for expatriates?

My company is asking me to live in Man On Shan. I have been there once and it looks nice especially for family’s but is there any expats there or are we going to feel isolated?

There were plenty of expats in the Horizon Suites when we lived there.
We tried to find an apartment out there, but had problems with landlords and it is rather far out if yo work in HK or SZ.

Living in Ma On Shan

There are a lot of expats living in Ma On Shan. If your boss wants you to live near Ma On Shan, you might also consider Tai Wai, City One or anywhere along the new Wu Kai Sha KCR line. There are bicycle paths that route alongside the river, the space feels open and there is great hiking very nearby. The library is great as well and they have really nice swimming pool (although crowded during peak hours). The park is absolutely gorgeous and my kids (expats) often meet other expats there to play with. Good luck!

Sai Sha Road

Hi. There is some good villages to live in along Sai Sha road should you want more of the country life. Ma On Shan itself has yet to really cater to expats and would sure like to see some establishments (restaurants, pubs, clubs) venture this way soon
