SD mp3 player

Anyone recently bought one of these mp3 players which store on SD cards and are powered by AAA cells?

If so please let me know how things are, as

I plan to get one but have heard horror stories for some models and would like to know more

No gushing reviews please

I only want the down and dirty tales

My sister currently uses one of these from Sandisk, she doesn't seem to be experiencing any problems with it and she's had it for well over 3 years!

i had two SD card mp3 players, One nexus that was working pretty well until the play/power on button decided to stop working.
And later on i got me one of those no display SD players thats basically just a square shaped 4 button thingie. worked flawlessly and cost a mere 60hkd. Just make sure you know they support your SD card size. Ie the 4button one could only handle up to 1gb.
