As much a sort of idle looking-for-company as anything... And I'm aware that there are already many many many things going on this weekend, and that half of the expats who'd usually be in town are off somewhere enjoying summer hols...

But. I just got my new work visa, this morning, and I'm probably going to be doing a visa run on Saturday. It will look something like jumping on a ferry mid-morning, having lunch in Macau, chilling out a bit, then heading back to HK late afternoon-ish-time. Depending on my mood, and who, if anyone, is with me, this may or may not involve popping into a casino, but having lost more than I could really afford to lose in two Macau trips last month, I'm not planning on spending too much time in that sort of place

A couple of years ago, when I got my first HK work visa, I ended up doing my visa run with a complete stranger I met on this site, so I thought I'd try it again There's no need to make any sort of commitment, unless we decide to book ferry tickets, and I'm pretty much sure to be going either way, even if it's by myself.

So... anyone in the mood for a short-ish, gentle-ish trip to Macau on Saturday?
