i clicked on some link on one of the response that sent me to the GeoExpat Handshakes. How do I get out of it (unsubscribe)?

I must admit I am not too sure what to think about Handshakes so far. Suppose its at an early stage. It will surely get better when more people update their profiles!

It appeared, made a moderately positive impact then disappeared a while ago...

Not sure whether or not to trust it this time round!

When it appeared earlier, it was causing more problems than doing good (massive scalability problems which were not anticipated).

Here to stay for sure...

when i click on "edit profile" it brings me to the handshakes arena.....

but i cant log-in to that area...

is it down? or am i doing something wrong? do i need to sign-up a new user accnt there?

Bender: I know the cause of the problem ... your handshakes account might not have been changed. Will fix it later tonight.

karizmatic : we're working on some animated tutorials ... for when we're ready to really start rolling it out and using...

For now .. set your profile up .. connect with friends ... start a blog .. or start a club .. its a simple way for you to start your own community within geoexpat (and then things get complicated)
