I just moved from the US about 10 days back and trying meet as many people as I can....any suggestions..I heard LKF is the place but don't really know much.

Any suggestions anyone.

LKF is one of the famous places in HK where people can have drinks and meet people in quite a Western atmosphere. My impression is the drinks there are expensive (as elsewhere) but there is no reason not to go there and just experience it yourself.

As you mentioned you are from the US you might like to try checking out AmCham (American Chamber of Commerce) social events. http://www.amcham.org.hk/

The various chambers of commerce in Hong Kong (eg AmCham, CanCham, AustCham, BritCham etc) have regular "networking" drinks events which are a good way for new arrivals (and otherwise!) to meet people here (Whilst I haven't been to any AmCham events myself, I've been to others)

Seriously pls do recommend some nice clubs with rnb/hiphop music!! THere's a lot of techno ard but nothing much to groove... anyone partying on wed thurs???
