Where should I go to get a good deal on memory for a Macbook Pro? If I currently have 512mb, do I have to get another 512mb/or scrap it to go above 1gb?

Macbook Pros have 2 memory slots, and if you have 512MB there should only be a single 512MB module sitting in a single slot. So you can add a second module and keep the first too.
