| Hi everyone, i'm new here (both to the forum and HK) and need some advice. I'm staying in HK on a dependant visa and my husband is a permenant resident. so i assume i'm allowed to work right? My question is when i apply for a job, how can i prove that i have the right to work in HK? Is there a code on my visa sticker that shows this? Or do i have to show them my husband's identity proof and our marriage certificate? Thanks! Last edited by polestar; 06-09-2004 at 09:53 PM. |

| I believe it is the fact that your visa sticker does NOT say something to the effect of "holder may not undertake employment in HK" that is important. |
