Hong Kong airport - Hand baggage

Hi There,

Does anyone know if you are allowed more than one piece of hand baggage when leaving hong kong airport.

Depends on which airline. But generally one bag of 7kg. Most airlines have details on their websites.

It also depends which class you are flying in and whether you have frequent flyer status with that airline.

You can also have a notebook, a briefcase or a handbag in addition to the one-piece carry-on.

However, if you have to transit somewhere, e.g. LHR, then you need to be careful as they have different rules on the extra small piece.

Generally ok if you have a one piece hand luggage and then a laptop bag, hand bag etc.

Don't try and take 2 10kg bags on board !

Also carefully check your destination rules. In UK you can on have one piece carry on IN TOTAL, even though you can take your carry in + laptop going in.
