Computers with good customer support?

I am interested in getting a desktop and would like to know more about the repair service/customer support for the brand name computer companies in hk (dell, hp, ibm, sony etc).

Do they pritty much offer the same service with regards to repair? Does anyone have recent first hand experince dealing with customer support for any brand name computer companies that operate in HK, just in case.

Thanks.

I would rate Apple 8 (10 being the best) for customer support except that if you need the 3 years service plan you have to pay for it.

My Dell keyboard failed within six months of purchase and they sent a courier with a replacement the next working day. They didn't take the old one away for which I shall have to take away a point.

Agree with the positive comments on Dell. Their customer support is second to none. I have a problem with the dvd-rom drive on my laptop, so I logged onto their website, and they have a new online tool called "Dell Connect" which is a bit like MSN Messenger or ICQ where you can type online to a Dell Technical Support guy which was amazing, but then what happened was even more incredible. He asked me to download an applet, and he was able to take control of my laptop. I'm sitting in my flat in Sha Tin and he's sitting somewhere in the UK and he has control of my computer. Sorry, I might be a bit old hat when it comes to new technology, but I found this to be very very useful........he couldn't work out what the problem was though
