Harder Than Expected

I would agree with eagerbeaver that it is definitly not an easy task and to a large extent depend on your stroke of luck and you capital.

However, it is still one of the fastest turn around economy in the world which means that if you have the skill and capital to stay in the game, you will eventually find your match.

It is sad but so true. So many HR consultant trying to hire executive have no ideas of what they are really doing or what a specific post really involve in terms of responsibilities and actual marketability. They simply are looking for a few key words not realizing that a specific job title implies the actual key work. Interesting world we live in.

Take for example the term executive, in the US or England it mean Senior Management. Here, it is barely consider to be a supervisor position. If any one of you still show executive on your resume (CV) you might want to revisit that.

When i first came here people told me working in HK is like working in hell.
I thought of is as highly exaggerated, but after 5years....i start to think it was probably the most suitable description it can be given. :P
