Transformers the Movie
Transformers was supposed to be released here on 4th July according to the posters around town. A check of the Broadway, UA and AMC websites gives zilch. Anyone know the status of this movie?

I saw the movie in Bangkok a couple of weeks ago (yes out in Bangkok already in the legit cinemas).

Great entertaining movie. Some really cheesy bits, but who cares, the Transformers transform and have lots of fights with each other!!!

Gary Pollard of RTHK and David Letterman of The Late Show gave glowing reviews so that's good enough for me.

Transformers is my childhood fav.... I have always wonder why no one is making it since, Green hulk, spiderman, batman etc... all the childhood cartoons and heroes are already on the big screen except Transformers... hehehe.. I really waited this for long long time.... this is like my fantasy come true... should be going to watch it this week...

Saw it last week (in US although i think it opened internationally on the 4th too?) it's a little cheesy for me - although I think I heard some men in the audience tearing up (since it's the ultimate macho-man-bonding-with-hardware-machinery kinda movie...) The action / special effects are pretty awesome. It's just when the robots got sentimental, it was a little stupid.

yeh, but there were robots which changed shape into machines and then the robots would fight each other. I mean, how cool is that though!!
