| Smaller banks may be a good option - to have 'local' presence. FYI if you have a greencard and open an account, it will be mandatory for the bank to report to the U.S. government $$$$ in your account - ie. don't think about hiding $$$$ you make in Asia away from the IRS... :-P  |
