I'm new to HK and just wanted to meet new people/friends who share my situation. I am a Chinese raised in Canada (Toronto) and a University Graduate.
Wondering if there are any fellow Canadians/Expats who is down-to-earth, friendly, out-going, fun, nice... (no psychos please),wants to chat and share their experiences! Have so many stories to share with you all....

| | | hey Janet,
I am just like you, although I am not a CBC, I lived in Canada for 10 years and now came back for work....it has been tough....anyway....hope you can get through this culture shock (for me it is more like reverse cultural shock).

| | | Hi,
I'm 50% less psycho than a year ago.
Well, as usual I need to work on those icebreakers.
Quite a few CBC's floating around, quite a few also looking for work (like me). The culture shock is quite stunning... for example my relatives are shocked I can still speak passable Cantonese and use chopsticks.
I'm shocked at the drink prices in bars. Happy at the widespread availability of won ton noodles anytime, anywhere. | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 02:44 PM.
