Memory Prices Hello, About to head over to HK, planning on building a computer while I'm there. However, I'm debating whether or not to get a few components here in the United States versus over there. The only thing I'm concerned about is memory, DDR2 - desktop memory. Can anyone quote a few prices regarding memory, brand name/no-name is fine, and whatever speed you remember it being would be a great help. Thanks in advance, chibichanman

Or for a wider view, HK Golden has street prices - actual prices may vary a bit depending on the mood of the vendor, how good a day they've had, how good you are at haggling, etc. If you can't read Chinese, the link at the very top-left of the page will take you to the price lists, then hover over the links and check the destination URL in your status bar to see what they translate to...

HKGolden has the most up-to-date street prices, but if you go to Golden Computer Centre in Sham Shui Po, look around, you should find cheaper prices. Memory has dropped in price. I bought a Kingston DDr2 1Gb last month for around $340..but I likleihood prices would have already gone back up or back up soon.
