Go to the intersection of Nathan & Jordan roads in Kowloon and you'll see a 1st floor place called Power Gym with a muscle-bound guy on the logo. Never been
inside, but it looks very no-frills.

Yeah, I've seen the place. There's one in Sai Ying Pun called Chi Tat Gym, but when I tried the buzzer, nobody responded or let me in.

Just weights a shower a toilet and three machines. A friendly guy at the front desk who is willing to help with anything. And inside lots of people who like to talk with you.

Franco's Gym on Nathan Road, Mongkok between Argyle Street and Fife Street, same side of road to Hang Seng bank.

Climber, you have me lol'ing over here. It does sound like a prison gym. If the other guys are only too happy to spot you and then proceed to stand right over your head, you know you're in trouble!

I workout at the The Fitness Gym at the Ka Lok building in Mongkok. The gym is kinda dated compared to all those big gym franchises but everyone there is serious when it comes to working out. And the personal trainers there will help you out for free, so that's a bonus.

Oh, and I'm paying $299 a month, so try not to pay more than that. They tried to get me to join for $499 a month but I ain't a sucker, as soon as I said I wanted to leave they offered me that $299 membership.

But if you can afford to pay a little more, go get a gym membership at Pure Fitness, they charge like $550 a month but the facilities they have there are first class.

the gym on jordan and nathan rd is called power gym.

did one workout there last time i was in HK.

No frills gym good for those who are into bodybuilding.
