| Parkview itself does permit dogs. Plenty dogs of all sizes live there. However, individual landlords decide whether or not they will include pets in the lease. There are restrictions regarding dog noise inside - I believe if your neighbors complain formally a few times about barking, roughhousing, etc. the pet can be required to leave. But, I haven't heard of this happening. Parkview also has lots of restrictions regarding where dogs can be walked inside the complex. But, with the country park just outside, I can't imagine wanting to walk dogs around the complex anyway.
Tai Tam Country Park (just outside of Parkview) is an excellent place for walking with dogs, but the areas around Parkview are quite hilly, with few flat areas to stroll. There are some flat and grassy open fields, but getting there is a little bit of a hike. If your dog is old and unable to handle hills, it isn't the best place to be. Otherwise its about as good a place as there is on HK island for dogs. There are a few doggie playgroups that go to the park daily (usually helpers take the dogs I think).
