Traction (for my knacked back)

HELP!

I need to find somewhere (nice) that can put me in traction today (English speaking).

My regular place in Jordan cannot fit me in and I'm crippled.

Very basic, I need about 35/45 kg's for 30 / 40 mins and everything will 'snap' back into place.

I need to work tomorrow and in my present state that's impossible....

Anyone know anywhere near Wanchai, Admiralty, Central?

Please remember, I'm a man and that means the pain is worse for me

I'm just a little intrigued by your posting. Firstly....what exactly does traction do to you? Secondly, have you looked into alternatives for a quick fix-up, like chiro, acupuncture etc? Hope you're better....my husband is in everlasting back pain so I can sympathize

If you have insurance, try getting in touch the DBC Spine Care Center at the Canossa in Central.

(Click on the DBC link)

Not sure if they'll do the traction for you -- as a self diagnosed treatment or if they'll need to do the full diagnosis.

Hello and thanks for the replies

KIA, I'll check out the canossa but it's generally a quick fix I need..

Kitty, I actually slipped a disk about 9 years ago climbing a 2 inch step! Carried home by a bus driver no less!
Ever since I've suffered from what they tell me is sciatica. Nerves get trapped and then I'm knacked.

My secretary was in a right state the other day as I fell to the floor moaning, screaming and twitching. I haven't been like that since the last time Laguna!

I've had acupuncture, rubbing, kicking and all of the associated punching that goes with it but being pulled apart by a traction machine generally works for me.

I'm told a simple operation (about 60K) will sort it out but I never get around to it.

I eventually got into my usual place but they only put me on 25kg of pull which is no use...I'm 6 foot and built nicely to match

I stood here typing this as I have now not sat down for 3 days....bed for the holidays with some nice drugs!
