| Cool place to live for young ppl. Budget 12K Hello, I am staying in HK for 4 month to study at Chinese University of Hong Kong. My GF is going with me so we need an apartment. We want to live centrally, (living near UNI seems boring) but still in commuting distance to the university. Seems like "Hung Hom" might be an option but I hear its a bad place for forigners to live? Where are the cool places for young hip people? |

East TST (Kimberly Rd, Austin Avenue area) or just a block over is TST (Hillwoood Rd, Tak Shing Street) both are within walking distance or one minibus stop from the KCRC Hung Hom station and not far from action. Plus several young people either students at PolyU or professional as good mix of local and expats. There is also Kowloon Tong area as BaptistU is there with CityU again plus several young people either students or professional as good mix of local and expats. |
