Service Apartments

Hi there,

I will be relocating from London to HK in September and thinking of living in a service apartment for the first six months.

I've looked at www.home2home.hk for their service apartments, especially Abeo. Just wondering if anyone living there now or have lived there before and what's ur experience.

My office is in Central and I am a single girl, is Abeo quite convenient/safe to live or travel to work every day?

I'd really appreciate if you can give me some other recommendations as well. My budge is HK$30k max.

Thanks a lot.

hi there
i stayed there for 2 months, price is reasonable considering it is almost new.
service was quite good, especially the maids who dont mind washing dishes and folding your clothes.
the location is ok, but the traffic to central through the tunnel is horrible. Some days would take 30 mins leaving at 8am, some days would take almost 1 hour. using their own shuttle bus) It is a very local area, but is less busy than the rest of hk island.
One thing to note is the traffic noise in apartments is quite bad even on the top floor (27)
all in all, for 10-15k its a good place, but if you can afford 30k i'd be looking at soho or even olympic city

I would recommend the ellipsis:

very good quality and Easy bus or tram ride to Central, probably 30 mins.
Cheers!

"official" Prices start at 28K per month - the best thing is to call them and discuss your requirements directly with the landlord - you may even get a discount off their published prices.
