First annual Diadora Football for Life 6-a-side Invitational Tournament

Football for Life will be putting some Hong Kong teams through their paces at a football fundraising tournament on June 24, 2007 at King's Park between 10.30am and 7.30pm. They will be organizing a six-a-side tournament between teams of the Diadora League, Law Firms, and Banks but also two teams from Shenzhen.

Alongside the football action, there will be a shooting competition with great prizes and food and drinks supplied by Delaneys's Bar & Grill

The Football for Life Society is dedicated to bettering the lives of underprivileged children through the sport of football. Football for Life will provide nearly 200 children with a first class football program next year, and see this as just the start of what they can accomplish in the future. Children are given all necessary equipment, quality coaching and fun excursions throughout the year.

Football for Life does invaluable work with the community and this is an excellent opportunity to spread the word and involve more local people. The event is about showing that people in Hong Kong can make a real improvement.

Football for Life Chairman Philippe Bru said: "Football for Life" is already doing some tremendous work in Hong Kong and we hope more people will learn how they can benefit from it by attending the Tournament. This weekend's event is another great opportunity for the Football community to come together.
