No secret here - iPhone goes in Stores in the United States on June 29th.

My question - is anyone planning to order one from there and bring it down here? I understand that it will initially be 'tied' to a particular network, until some technophobile figures out the unlocking mechanism.

If anyone does happen to get their hands on one and tries it out - please do post a review here and whether or not it is possible to use it here in HK.

They will be locked to the u.s network e.g verizon etc etc. Not worth bringing one over to be honest, plus its better to wait till 3g models are out.

Actually only being sold in partnership with AT&T. They just released new figures for battery life this week but still no-one knows whether the battery is replaceable or not (think i-pod). Well over-hyped imo.

My iPhone Diary

Needed to update my PDA/Phone and was debating whether to wait for the iPhone or get something current. After researching quite a bit, i decided to got for the HTC Touch!

Hands down one of the best PDA/Phones i've owned (trust me, i've had many!) Whilst i miss the slide out qwerty keyboard from my last phone, sending out quick sms's and short email replies is very easy.

The price is right, has iPhone-esque qualities, and is very highly rated in a lot of reviews.
