| Air France has promotional rates for Europe advertised in SCMP. Depending on when you want to go, the website has rates from 3400 upwards to Germany via Paris (plus tax of course). See www.airfrance.com.hk. Last time I took KLM via Amsterdam, for below 4000 including tax. Bought the ticket offline at Travel Expert. Never seen any better rates on Lufthansa or Cathay, but heard that Vietnam Airlines should work out cheaper... I also know somebody who took Oasis to London and then Ryanair to Germany, but it takes ages and is only minimal cheaper. |

| mjk, if flying Oasis you should consider German Wings instead of Ryanair since they use the same airport as Oasis does. So far KLM seems to have the best fares. Lufthansa was never cheap. Cathay to Frankfurt has some good offers sometimes. You can also check Turkish Airlines via Istanbul; they sometimes got good offers, too. |
