Hi all, new to the forum and would like some advice if you would be so kind.

Moving back to HK very soon and will be working in Shatin/Central, my wife will not be working at this moment in time so looking for a place that will satisfy the following criteria:

Easy access to Shatin
Not too far from HK Island (nightlife, friends etc)
Tennis court, gym facilities
Good amenities
Potential for kids schooling
Enough flavour of HK without being too downtown.

I'm a BBC (Brit Born Chinese) and spent many a summer vacation in Tsuen Wan as a kid, though my wife is not Chinese and has never lived in HK (only vacations).

So far I've come up with Hung Hom, Whampoa Gardens/Laguna Verde as potential targets.

Can anyone recommend any other similar residences that fit the bill?

Parc Palais or Beacon Hill in Kowloon. We thought Parc Palais had the better amenities.

Beacon Hill is Kowloon Tong right? Parc Palais is also close by?

I'm looking for apts around 800sqf, so would the prices of Beacon Hill be similar to Hung Hom.

Parc Palais is closer to Jordan whereas Beacon Hill is near Kowloon Tong/Festival Walk.
