Hey everybody, I'm new here from Texas and just wanted to know where to buy some outdoor furniture. I want to have a barbecue for Fourth of July and am just wondering where do people in Hong Kong go for that stuff?

Instead of buying all the stuff another alternative is just to go to a bbq site

Horizon Plaza, Ap Lei Chau - many floors of places selling that sort of stuff. Not necessarily the cheapest, but all in one place.

Several small shops dotted around Sai Kung if that's closer than Ap Lei Chau.

Probably more selection at Ap Lei Chau though.

Hey, I'm leaving Hong Kong and I have a complete rooftop set-up including a table and 4 chairs with umbrella, 2 palms a BBQ water hose and cans with tons of candles and things. Will give you great price but you will have to make arrangements to move from Sheung Wan.

Thanks for all the replies, but I'm looking for a new set. Are the Ap Lei Chau stores generally stocked with higher end furniture? I'm looking for some of the nicer stuff. My budget would be around $30000 HKD.

Just got a beautiful set from a store in a Horizon Plaza (Ap Lei Chau) for my roof. We got them to throw in a hammock. I think the store was called 'A Place in the Sun' or something, but can't remember what floor it was on, sorry. It took about a week to get a delivery scheduled. Its nice to have another Texan on the forum - welcome.
