Maybe I can not join in this weekend but for sure I would like to join to have a drink in the dark side.

so i've made a reservation for a night out on the dark side for this Friday night:

When: Friday, June 15 at 8:30pm
Where: Cloud 9
Shop G7-8 G/F The Pinnacle, 8 Minden Avenue

All are welcome (even if you live on HK island)!!

I've reserved a table for 8-10 people in the FRONT part of the bar at 8:30pm under the name of "Dave" (karaoke is in the back part, so maybe we'll make our way over there later in the night), so when you walk in the bar you should immediately go to the left (we'll be sitting on the couches that are furthest away from the big TV screen).

Directions: Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stop, exit G (towards KCR), then exit N1 (Hanoi Road). take the stairs up to the street level (not elevator or escalator), and when you get on the street level, walk past the elevator and take a slight right onto Blenheim Avenue, then a right onto Minden Avenue (Minden Avenue is parallel to Mody Road). Cloud 9 is about 50 feet on your left after The Pinnacle apartment building (8 Minden Avenue).

I reckon I'll venture out onto the dark side. Sounds like a fun evening. This karaoke malarkey - I seem to remember someone mentioning this last Friday night, and you end up singing in a booth so that no-one else can hear you. Now, I'm pretty tuneless (some would say completely tuneless), but why would you do karaoke if not to make an eejit (sorry, Irishness creeping it) of yourself in front of everyone else?
