You can buy colour phones from HK$500 (US$65) up to HK$5000 (US$650) or more, depending on the features you want. There are mobile phone shops in pretty much eveery shopping street in Hong Kong.

Does anyone know if I can use a French mobile phone with a HK sim card?
Coz I dont want to buy a new phone if I can use mine...

I know that in France, if you bought yooour phone with a provider, it is blocked to another provider but you can deblock it by going in some places and pay some people who know how to change this in your mobile.
Is my HK problem similar?

AAny help is welcome as not having mobile in HK is something Anormal...

You might want to call you provider in France and tell them that you're going on an overseas trip and they need to unblock your phone so that you can use prepaid sim cards. By law, they're supposed to then give you the code or help you unlock it.
