srvblooze will become famous soon enough
Just moved here from the US where I was used to having hundreds of channels coming through my dish on Direct TV
Any satellite companies here?

No. At least not legally.

NOW TV has about 120 channels currently. Cable TV has 83.

Are you sure about that? I live out in the NT villages and until very recently you couldn't get cable out here. The place is festooned with sat dishes of every shape and size. Must have got their service from somewhere.

Well OK - you can get satellite, but it's illegal to have decoders for any of the channels over which Now or CableTV have the exclusive HK rights.

If you are looking for coverage of NFL/MLB/NBA/NCAA, you will be hugely disappointed as none of the cable/satellite services around here carries the amount of US Sports as Direct TV.
