Information!!!

Hello! I want to go to work to Hong Kong. I don´t speak cantonese, is it possible to find a job without chinese? because when I was there european people didn´t speak, but when I look for something in internet chinese is a requirement. Thank You!!!

Really depends on what kind of job you are looking for.

If its a job that requires you to interact a lot with the domestic customer base or companies than Chinese will be a requirement.

If its a foreign multi-national than you are ok with English only.

You really need to be specific on the job....I mean if you are going to be, like, a street hawker, then guess what.....you will need canto !

When looking at job postings keep in mind that all organizations post what they want in their "IDEAL" canidate for the positions. You never know who else is applying so if you can meet about half or more of the requirements I suggest go ahead and apply. What do you have to loose ? and think about the possibilties of what you have to gain.
