| | | Erm.... Sai Kung IS a big ex-pat area.
It's green, low-rise buildings, decent supermarkets that sell expat food, various sports facilities, quite a few bars, lots of restaurants. Lots of people come in for hiking or use the beaches.

| | | Chose your pick - anywhere from Sai Kung town to Clearwaterbay to Sai Kung Country park.
Depends on what you earn/prepared to spend on rent, if you drive, if after English speaking schools or ok with Chinese etc.
Try to get a day out here as lots of property agents who can show you around.

| | | We just bought a house up there and on our slogs around the area looking for places were constantly surprised at the number of expats living there- even in the small villages off the main roads where you get more bang for your buck.
Will you actually be working in Sai Kung itself- a lot of people say 'Sai Kung' for quite a big radius around it.

| | | Curious to what you will be doing here.
Not many people get jobs in Sai Kung from overseas - it's more small shops and restaurants around here...

| | | My husband will be the one working and its just out of sai kung. I was advised to find serviced accomodation while we look for a rental but i cant seem to find any in sai kung or clearwater bay. Is HK gold coast within a reasonable travelling distance from sai kung? Is it an ok city to drive in? | |

| | | Not something I've researched but I wouldn't expect too many in the Kowloon east area. Hong Kong island may be your best bet particularly around North Point / Quarry Bay. | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 02:44 PM. | |
