was wondering if there was any good bar/pub/hang out spots in or around yuen long worth taking a look at. any recommendations is appreciated. if there is anyone around the yuen long area up for meeting that would be great too.

Im In Tin Shui wai, wouldent mind going out for a few beers.
Though there are A LOT of shady places in Yuen Long.

Gosh, buddy, living in Tin Shui Wai since 8 months and all I know about this area is:......I WANNA RUN AWAY....HELP, HELP!!!....decent bars???....what may be even barely decent here around????......Everyday I do wonder, when I come back in Tin Shui Wai from downtown, if I need to show the passport and looking for some welcome signs:...WELCOME TO CHINA!!!....any further comment isn't needed....

YL really doesnt have much to offer in terms of pubs or bars. Neither do I want to get into one of those bars....shady places with rascals and gangsters. from time to time I see gang of police officers acquainted with doggies visiting bars and pubs. one time I was accidentaly standing in front of a bar and suddenly I was surrounded by undercover agents asking what I was doing overthere. It is worth it to travel one hour for LKF....

We acually liked living in TSW but then we don't drink so the lack of pubs etc was no problem for us.

We moved to Tuen Mun, 20 minutes further down Castle Peak road from Yuen Long. The Gold Coast Mall has a great pub on the promenade, indoor / outdoor area, and exclusively western oriented. Why not make the trip, great Sunday afternoon hang out, worth the mini bus ride.

We lived in Yuen Long for 2 years, what a huge sea change the Gold Coast is.
