I was reading the Wikipedia entry on Jardine Matheson and was surprised to find a claim that Jardine's is the largest employer in HK, after the government.

I thought that this distinction belonged to the Hospital Authority, followed by the Jockey Club (although these are arguably branches of government). Does anyone confidently know which the top 5-10 employers are in HK?

I would imagine Jardines is one of the biggest if not the biggest employer easily, they own half of the city, Hutchinson must also be up there, they own most of the other half
