Well, I don't mind monopoly, but not in French, thank you

First post on here, I've noticed this website for years now, but have only recently found a reason to join.

Born in Hong Kong - sent to the UK in 93 - back last November.

I realised, almost as soon as I got back, that it's no use having friends across the globe if you can't meet people face to face... so...

LET ME IN~

Just want to chat and share stories about how living abroad and settling back in is like for everyone. I'm a good listener, so much so that insecure people presume I'm ignoring them (don't ask me why, but I get that feeling a lot)

Leaders - get organised and lead the way. Supporters - do your thing, and newbies like me please make yourself heard.

It's nice to (try and) meet you all.

How about 6:30 PM this Sunday at Pacific Coffee in Kowloon Tong (Festival Walk Shopping Centre). The venue is quite large and will be able to accomodate everyone. It is just above the MTR station and next to the KCR station making it central for everyone to meet.

beafan,

i don't think alliance franciase is a good place to learn thought.. i mean i learnt french there b4 (level 1 to level 5).. the first 2 levels are ok as they taught in english.. but the last 3.. they taught in chinese which made me so confused & decide to quit cos' they couldn't guarantee me a english speaking teacher ..
