i got followed by a guy last nite... in lkf around 0200-0230....

i was alone at Insomnia, enjoy music and relax myself, it doesn't matter if someone who would like to talk to me, but it does matter if ask for more and who got sloshed after that. he would like to force and come to my home but i rejected and he said i was crazy... i wasn't and pissed him off, but he asked me what happened after he said and denied what he've done. just followed and around me, unfortunately there had no police in streets... i don't know what can i do... left by a taxi after that. and made me wanna cry ..... :'(

so what would u do if u're me and huv the same problem next time?

You should have asked the doorman at Insomnia for assistance - that's one reason they are there.

Truthfully, there's not really all that much you can do except avoid places like that.

You can try telling the bouncers if there are any, they might be interested in getting rid of some idiot who's bothering a pretty girl, but then there's no guarantee he wouldn't just wait for you outside.

When you do leave, stay aware of your surroundings. Keep your cell phone handy so you can call the emergency number quickly if you need to. Stay in places where there are people around. Get a taxi as close as possible to the place you were just in.

Even in a place as safe as HK, you need to keep your guard up and your eyes open.

ahh! something similar happened to me! except that, it was on the train late evening, and a weirdo kept trying to talk. i was trying my best to be nice. then he said he wanted to come home with me. and when i refused (obviously), he grabbed my wrist.

so i just screamed and some nice passerbys called 999 for me. and he still didn't leave. the cops showed up like 2 minutes away and took him away. they even asked me if i wanted to go to the hospital so they could press charges. my wrist was all red and i was nearly crying. but i didn't go to the hospital and they had two other cops to escort me home.

anyways, just call the cops next time. better safe than sorry.
