Coming out from Oz and trying to decide what to leave/take. We have a big fridge, Oz style !! Do most rental apts come with a fridge or not?? AND will I fit it in a HK apt prob looking at somewhere 1200sqft ish.
Advice ??? Ta !!

We didn't bring fridge / washing machine etc - I think most rentals come with (ours does and the others I looked at did as well). I wouldn't bring it unless you are very attached to it.

If you have the removal allowance anyway I would bring it. You will be hard pressed to find a large fridge here. If you do it will cost you a lot.

yes I have got an allowance.................so can easy bring it, but dont want to end up with 2 fridges in a smallish apt.....................mmmmmmmmmmm

Do you really need your big fridge? And yes...the fridge will take up space and apartments here are small. Unless you're getting a big apartment.

I certainly wouldn't recommend bringing it unless you want to end up paying for storage to hold your fridge if your appartment already has one (never seen one that didn't) or if it's too big for your kitchen...
I brought almost every thing with me, and ended up having to take a storage space, and it's not cheap+ I'm not sure how humidity-proof it really is and what state everything will end up in!
