my two year old M-250 cannot be recharged or recognised by the computer as an external drive.
Any ideas on whats happening?
I can still listen to what's already on it but the juice will run out soon. | |

| | | The batteries are completely dead. Lithium batteries have a set life; no matter how you use them, they will eventually expire. Time to buy a new MP3 player! Unless you think it's worth cracking it open and trying to replace the battery yourself... | |

there doesn't appear to be any place which could be a battery compartment-in any case how does one pry open an mp3 player?
