I hear if you frequent certain bars in Wanchai and LKF, the DVDs will come to you, but the prices will be about 4x as high in China.

Thankfully, that crap has been eliminated from HK for the most part. They are still out there, you'll be approached by people in certain parts of town. But if you want cheap crap, go to a cheap crap city

No they're not. Unless these people have started using dual layer discs. But they haven't, so it's still cheap crap. And any DVD's that you see that haven't been released on DVD yet are using downloaded screeners, or worse, cameras in the theatre. That's beyond crap.

So yeah, just buy the originals if you want to enjoy these movies. Or find a new hobby if you can't afford it

Dual Layer Discs?? Um... no "DVDS" are dual layered.

no shit shirlock.

just to give you some INFORMATION that you do not know.

grab your nearest "DVD" box. turn it around. try to find where it says "made in"....

i'm guessing you can't. because you know why? They don't let you know where they REALLY manufacter DVDs.

They manufacter them in CHINA. put them in boxes, and sell them for 100 times there worth.

That's why china has "copied" "DVDS" which aren't really copies. They are originals taken out of the factory.

Anyone who knows about the wholesale industry would know this. Obviously your not very educated on this things cause you think "Cheap" DVDS are not the same quality.

They are. unless your talkin about unreleased films.
Which I don't see why anyone would buy cause the quality is bad.

get your things straight before calling me "cheap" I don't think a 22 year old majoring in pre-med is "cheap"
I don't want to spend more than I have to.

trust me. i have more money than you
