I thought I read somewhere that they were going to make multiple entry visas to mainland more available (not just restricted to business and family) I was pointed to this site:

but there's no English in it. Otherwise a dual entry tourist visa is the best deal i can get?

Also I've seen the visa fees vary, "application fee HK$150 for 1 entry HK$220 for 2 entries" (from a site in HK) and sites in the US/UK have the price charge by the local Chinese embassy/consulate $50 USD for a single and $75 USD for a double, also seeing sometimes separate rates for Americans, British, and ‘other’ citizens. So as a US citizen, if I apply for a visa in HK to enter mainland china how much can I expect to pay?
