Cheapest tamagotchis?

Where can I buy tamagotchis, but cheaper than at Toys R Us? I'd like to bring back a bunch for my nephews and nieces this summer...

Try Wanchai Tak Yuen St. There are 3 or 4 toy stores and you may be able to bargain if you buy a few.

Great, thanks for that. One more question, will I find some for cheaper at Lowu Plaza, and is there a big difference in quality between the models you buy at Wanchai and the ones at Toys R Us?

My guy is a bit too young for T, and I haven't really looked at the models avail. Sorry, have no idea on the qualities.

Do you think the ones in China will be legit? I wouldn't take my chances; you could end up with some very disappointed (and embarrassed, if their friends find out) nieces and nephews...

If the price is significantly lower than Toys R Us, they may not be real. However, I think if they are $5-10 HKD cheaper, then they probably are. But then, is it worth searching around all that time to save a couple bucks?

Ever since I saw a gameboy advance in Sham Shui Po for half price of what I just paid at Toys R Us, I've been thinking that probably I could get other things much cheaper elsewhere. The thing is not to get a fake and get ripped off!

Yeah, you have to know what you're getting into. The GBA you saw in SSP was probably an overseas version (US or Japan, or possibly Singapore or Taiwan) so that makes sense. But Tamagotchis might be more difficult to discern.

I wouldn't buy ANYTHING in China, unless there is absolutely 100% way to confirm it's legit. And if that is the case, it's usually the same price (or more) as the rest of the world.
