Any ideas on where to get an ice cream cake in HK? My husband's birthday is coming up and he loves turtle pie ice cream cake - the kind you get at baskin robbins. That's asking for too much of course, so I'll settle for any kind of ice cream cake.

Try Hagan Daz. They should make it. Not sure about Ben and Jerry though

Yep, the Haagen Daz ice cream shops at the Peak and at Harbour City (Tsim Sha Tsui) sell them. I don't know if they have the Turtle Pie, though.

My wife got me one from Haagen Dazs....they did a decent job (there is also a location on 3rd floor of IFC). (love their ice cream....but in my opinion their ice cream cakes just don't compare to Baskin Robins ).

Alternatively, there is always Viennetta at Park 'n Shop

actually, you can get a decent range of ice cream cakes from A1-bakery. It has multiple outlets including a small one in EAst TST KCR station. They have a brochure with all the flavours and designs. had two from them (each of the kiddy's birthdays) and very happy with the quality.

any ice cream cakes similar to the ones from DQ? i love the chocolate crunchy layer and thick chocolate syrup. yummmmm. actually it's more like a ice milk cake than ice cream but whatever
