There will be also two people coming with me, so I can be AndyMullen1983 +2 or add Gary and Nick to the list. What is the situation with the ball?

Looks good. 8 had confirmed for definite by PM or post, Andy + 2 makes 11. If milez_y comes that's 12 players for six-a-side. I'm sure there's still room for a few more if anyone else wants to play, as the pitch is for 7-a-side and we can have rolling subs if there are more than 14 so the old guys like me can have a rest every now and again I'll bring a ball but it won't hurt to have a spare if anyone else wants to bring one also.

P.S. Andy/Gary/Nick, will you be meeting us at the MTR or going directly to the pitch?

soccerr hey all, i'm a girl (if that matters) and i'm interested in playing. is the place ur playing at a grass field? (theres a lot of posting and i'm not too clear) and are people wearing cleats?? or regular runners? i need to get a pair of shoes anyways .. but if you're still open to more players i'd be interested in regular soccer matches. - martha

It's fine by me if you want to come, but several of the players are British so you'll have to stop calling it soccer or we'll get upset; we're playing football The pitch is astro-turf (artificial grass) so you can't use studded boots. You can get football boots especially for astro-turf of course, but normal trainers will also be fine.

Josh, this is the second time you are being lazy, logoff! it takes you 1 minute! hahaha. You should create a joint account Yes, don't call it soccer. I never understood why american football is called football. You use ur hands 90% of the time! Last edited by milez_y; 13-06-2007 at 02:45 AM.

"Football boots" to a Brit is "Soccer cleats" to an American! Just like it's "Football Pitch" rather than "Football Field" It means the same thing, just different terminilogy
