| | | Hi Josh,
No, it's Tai Koo MTR, exit D1.
Basically Quarry Bay Park runs from Quarry Bay to Tai Koo and has two separate sections, Quarry Bay Park Phase 1 and Quarry Bay Park Phase 2. There are two football pitches, one in Phase 1 and one in Phase 2. The Phase 1 pitch is at the Tai Koo end of the park and the Phase 2 pitch is at the Quarry Bay end. We have the Phase 1 pitch booked this time so it's easier to use Tai Koo MTR if you're coming by MTR.
Next time I'm passing I'll check out the exact directions from Tai Koo MTR and post them. It might be a good idea for those going by MTR to meet at the MTR station and go together but I'll organise that nearer the time when final people are confirmed. | |

| | | The cost of the pitch is HK$168 (inc floodlights), we'll just split it between however many turn up so its likely to be between $10-$20 each. We can maybe set up a kitty or something if it becomes a regular thing. It seems that it might be possible for it to become a weekly thing if there is enough interest and if we get into the routine of booking each week a month ahead (for weekday evenings).
If you want to bring your old man then of course that's fine, the more the merrier as it seems we're still a bit short of enough players for a game using the full pitch. Of course we can still have a kickabout, play across the pitch etc if we don't have enough for a full game but if we can get about 12 people then we can have six-a-side and use the whole pitch. |
