| | | I'm working so Sat mornings don't work for me.
I have booked the astro-turf seven a side pitch at Quarry Bay for 8.00-9.30pm on June 19th. There are two pitches at Quarry Bay. I have booked the Phase 1 pitch which is in the part of the park nearer to Tai Koo (exit D1) than Quarry Bay.
PM me if you're coming, let's see how much of the online enthusiasm is converted to real players turning up!

| | | Coune me in for June 16. Shame it's so far ahead. Is it that hard to get a pitch in HK. Saying that, they just build on any open space they can. I was well up for the jumpers for goalposts idea mentioned earlier. Shame. | |

| | | Cool well done I am in,
it seems that grass and astroturf pitchs are booked centrally on there web site, but concrete picthes are run by district councels and they would not let me book one over the phone saying you have to go to there offices. There are definatly pitches free around aberdeen but I know it might be a pain in the arse to get to. So there are people who want me to try and get a pitch out here let me know.

| | | Hi Robbie
My hubbie (we're also based at Cyberport) has been itching to get a game of 5's for ages, just couldn't find anywhere or anyone interested since we moved over. If you know of anywhere, he'd defo be interested. His name is Gavin. He played at home, nothing too serious, more to keep fit and the social side. Patricia

| | | There seems to be a little confusion as to dates. Robbie suggested early morning on the 16th (Sat) but there were no takers. The pitch that has been booked is on the evening of the 19th (Tue).
I would suggest that as that one is booked we try to get as many people to that one as possible. When we have the first one up and running and everbody meets each other we can explore other options over a beer.
Patricia, there is a minibus direct from Cyberport to Quarry Bay if your husband doesn't mind 7-a-side instead of 5-a-side. The minibus drops off right next to the Phase 2 Footbal pitch. We're playing at the Phase 1 pitch which is a shortish walk away in the next section of the park. |
