None of those are horse riding- they're all 'stable walks'. There is a picture there of someone being led round by the reins.
If there is anywhere where you can go and properly hack out on horses as opposed to uber donkeys then we're talking.

Aren't they running the Olympic cross country event on a golf course? If true that would seem to indicate there is no place to run a horse. And, given all the things you can't do in a park, I find it hard to belive you could then ride a horse.

As a beginner, whether it's "stable walking" or what's not really my greatest concern. I aimed at having fun with someone who really interested in this activity. If speaking like a book is easier for you, then pedantically put it in this way: "Any one interested to be on horse back". Feel free to be a verbalist and interrupt this in whatever way you feel comfortable with.

Any doubt on site availability, you are always welcome to check that out. Olympic's not going to start from tomorrow to eternity, I suppose.

The cross country course will run along some of the fairways of Fanling Golf Course. There is an existing cross country course which starts at Bea's River, the equestrian centre which is currently being converted for the olympic events. This course is not long enough for an olympic event hence the move to the golf course. Bea's River is owned by the Jockey Club and Hong Kong Golf Course (Fanling) was donated by the Jockey Club so I guess it was a trade off in some ways.

But you still have the problem--no place to run a horse.
