Permanent ID before 7 years ?

Hi,

I am living and working in HK for the past 6 years (continuously).

2 years ago, my bf and myself have set up a cpny that is doing well. We have applied for the working visa for my bf, and we are still waiting for their answer (positive i hope) within a few weeks.
Currently we have only 1 Hong Kong staff working for us.

I am actually waiting from my bf to be approved to then resign but I am afraid the immigration will not approve 2 expats for only one local staff... I have heard that I can apply the permanent ID before 7 years, but after spending 3 hours on the net, I am sure now that it's not possible.

Any one has a solution ? ...

Thanks a lot

Nope - the 7 years is a very solid limit. But why an Employment Visa for your bf? If you are running a small company then perhaps an Investment Visa would be more appropriate?
