Hi All,

I am new in HK and have heard there are a couple of spots where you're able to surf. Big wave bay, and sai kung.

Would anyone be interested in teaming up for a surf trip one weekend soon? Can anyone give some directions on how to get to these spots?

definetely up for some surfing. Been to big wave bay, pretty easy to get there, from central you take the MTR Island line to Shau kei wan and then the bus to Shek O ... Let me know, when you are thinking to go ...

I am a US law student studying at UHK this semester. I am from San Diego and am a surfer. I would love to tag along with you at some point. Does someone rent Surftech shapes around here? Is there a good surf shop to purchase at, too. I am taking a week in Bali in October, and may buy a board up here.

How about Sharks?
Is it safe to surf? I would like to try too, but i dont want to risk losing an arm or leg,lol

you can check xgame stores, they sell boards not so sure about the selection ... the causeway bay one maybe. you can also buy at big wave bay.
